Master's Thesis
Virtual Enterprise Resource Planning for Production Planning and Control Education

Bachelor of Engineering Project
Design and Manufacture of a Work Holding Fixture for Manufacturing Cams for Cam Action Dies

About Me

I completed my schooling from Symbiosis School (popularly known as 'Symbi') and then joined Fergusson college for my higher secondary education. I was admitted in the prestigious  Government College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) for electrical engineering. I was very fortunate to get a branch change to mechanical discipline after my first year of engineering. During the last year of mechanical engineering I completed a project “Design and Manufacture of a Work Holding Fixture for Manufacturing Cams for Cam Action Dies” at Tata Motors (formerly TELCO) Pune, India in a team of four students. The main concept of the project was to design and manufacture a work-holding device that will enable any worker to achieve the accuracy of angles on a work piece even with a simple (vertical spindle) end-milling cutter. After graduating in 2004, I worked for Infosys Technologies Limited as a software engineer in the print services group for Capital One corporation, VA.

I completed my Master of Science degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department at University of Cincinnati. During my master's I was working as a research assistant at the Intelligent Systems Laboratory. My past internship was (Sep06-Apr07) at TechSolve Inc. (Cincinnati, OH) where I was working as technical lead for developing knowledge-based systems. The proposed supervisory system will interact with the following modules: Machine Tool Metrology, Health & Maintenance, On-Machine Probing, Tool Wear Monitoring and Intelligent High-Speed Machining.

In my recent internship I was working as a research intern in the area of Open Source Data Analytics at SAP labs, Palo Alto CA. My primary responsibilities included data mining, statistical analyses and development of machine learning models of open source research projects in the Open Source Research Group of SAP Research.
